Currently hiring:  Part-Time Security Guard (3 Hour Shifts)

Skills:

• Communication skills
• Driving Licence
• Law enforcement

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premised to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Monitor surveillance systems if available to observe activity and identify potential security threats
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services if/when necessary
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or damages

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security or related fields is preferred
• Valid driver’s licence and own method of transportation is mandatory
• Must be bondable (Criminal Record Check)
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Individuals must be comfortable working on their own
• Individuals must be comfortable and willing to working outside
• Strong work ethic, observation skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff and emergency responders
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to learn and take direction
