About the Role
KCGR is seeking a skilled and safety minded Heavy Equipment Operator to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate is experienced with excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders, and takes pride in delivering precise, efficient work on a variety of earthworks and site development projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders safely and efficiently
• Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, trenching, and material handling
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Work closely with site supervisors to complete tasks on schedule
• Follow all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and company procedures
• Assist with general labour or site tasks when required

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience
• Strong proficiency with excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
• Experience in civil construction, earthworks, or road building
• Ability to read grade stakes, follow directions, and work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Valid operator certifications or tickets are an asset
