What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a driven and motivated team player to join our team. The ideal candidate, will be motivated and skilled in driving group business through our doors during all seasons of the year in a variety of guest segments. You will bring unique techniques and sales objectives to Elk Lake Lodge to drive sales in increase group business segments.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities would include, but not limited to:

·       Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for the business.

·       Researching and sourcing leads for corporate and wedding bookings.

·       Responding to RFPs in a thorough and timely manner.

·       Communicating with prospective guests professionally.

·       Working with the team to ensure all group needs are relayed, understood, and executed with precision for a successful event.

·       Execute procedures set out for billing and deposits without exception.

·       Following up with past guests for satisfaction and feedback.

·       Contribute to the marketing plan with any ideas for special packages, offerings or incentives that will help to drive all segments of business.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

·       Education in Sales, Business, Hospitality Management, is ideal.

·       Reliable transportation is a must.

·       Sales Experience is a requirement. Experience in hospitality sales an asset, but we will train the right candidate.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

·       Can-do/positive attitude.

·       Have the drive, ambition and take initiative within the workplace.

·       Able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
