Timiskaming Timber Inc. has an opening for a Permanent Full-Time Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.

Duties:

• The applicant must inspect and diagnose equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Order part and maintain inventory.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, air and fuel filters, testing batteries, checking brake system components and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Assemble, install, repair and maintain equipment involving transmission servicing, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, heating and refrigeration units.
• Complete the associated service paperwork and update and maintain all service records.
• Experience with forestry equipment an asset.
• Class D License
• Valid Heavy Duty Equipment Technician license.
• Work settings:  garage and forestry worksites
• Pay: $30.00 per hour + Health Care Benefits + Pension Plan.
