Residential Supervisor - Community Living Temiskaming South - Haileybury, ON

Position Summary:
Community Living Temiskaming South is a not-for-profit agency that provides a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Residential Services are designed to provide 24 hours, in facility and delivery of quality service which is person centered. The Residential Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home. Direct responsibility includes (but not limited to): providing leadership, training, developing, scheduling and supervising staff, ensuring the home operates in conjunction with provincial licensing, follows the agency and health & safety policies and procedures, and ensuring the individual(s) needs are being met. The Residential Supervisor will encourage teamwork and maintain regular and positive effective communication with employees, individuals and with other functional areas of the organization and with other agencies.

Essential Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services or Community Services or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisor role preferably working in a unionized environment
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
  • Class “G’ drivers' license
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Mental health and dual diagnosis training (consider an asset)
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Must have a strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Commitment to a professional work ethic, working cooperatively and collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • Self-directed with superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage overlapping priorities and multiple areas of responsibility
  • An ability to deal with all level of the organizations
  • Professional with excellent negotiating skills and an ability to express opinion in a firm manner demonstrating good judgment and respect

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,753.00 per year
