Located in New Liskeard, Ontario, the Little Claybelt Homesteaders Museum is dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of South Temiskaming through the collection of artifacts and documentation that focuses on the settlement history of the Little Claybelt.

Responsibilities and Requirements include:

• Interest in local history and knowledge of the local area
• Excellent customer service
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, email
• Internet research on family history as required
• Accessioning, data entry and storage of artifacts
• Answering inquiries by telephone, email and in person
• Sales in the gift shop, processing payments, responsible for cash float
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised and with fellow employees under the direction of the Board of Directors of the museum.
• General cleaning/maintenance duties
• Bilingualism is an asset
