As a member of the Keepers of the Circle team, the Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) is responsible for providing a culturally rooted childcare service for families and children.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise children
• Engage in age appropriate activities and lessons, inside and outside
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians
• Partner with community agencies
• Assist in daily maintenance of the centre

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Native Culture and Tradition is an asset.
• Understanding of the organization and its programs is preferred
• Experience with children 0-12 years of age
• Up to date first aid and CPR training, Level C (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
